Balkan Baroque.

Balkan Baroque is a new ensemble of three musicians who met at the Amsterdam Conservatory. They share a passion for authentic performance practice and embark on an adventurous path together. Two passions come together in this concert: 17th century music from Italy and Croatia, and folklore Balkan music, both played on authentic instruments. The ensemble’s name is inspired by the Stile Moderno music style, which stands for innovation and experimentation and originated in Europe in the 17th century.
